ROLE
The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities and sales performance at Austin Home Interiors, including developing sales strategies, managing the sales team, developing customers, managing sales channels, and achieving the company’s revenue and profit targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Sales & Business Strategy
Take direct responsibility for AHI’s overall sales performance and assigned sales targets.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans, as well as long-term growth strategies.
Propose pricing policies, sales programs, customer policies, and other initiatives to increase sales while maintaining AHI’s premium brand positioning.
B. Sales Team Management & Development
Manage, lead, and develop the entire Sales team.
Build the team structure and assign targets and KPIs to each team member and sales channel.
Support team members on major opportunities and projects, and take part in negotiations and closing deals when needed.
C. Customer & Market Development
Develop and maintain relationships with key customer groups, including high-end individual customers, architects, design & build companies, contractors, hospitality businesses, and other important partners.
Build a strong network of strategic customers and partners to create stable and long-term revenue.
Follow market trends and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
D. Sales Operations
Build and standardize the sales process, from finding potential customers, consultation, and quotation to negotiation, closing, and after-sales service.
Monitor the quality of leads and make sure the team has enough sales opportunities to achieve its targets.
Work closely with Marketing on lead generation, sales promotion programs, and brand development activities.
Work with other departments to ensure a good customer experience and the timely delivery of orders and projects.
E. Reporting & Management
Regularly monitor and report on sales performance and business results. Identify the reasons for achieving or missing targets and develop clear action plans.
Manage the budget and expenses related to sales activities.
Report directly to the Management Board.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Required
- At least 5–8 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, including experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar management position.
- Proven track record of managing and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to develop business strategies and turn them into clear action plans.
- Strong data-driven management skills, with an understanding of revenue, profit, sales opportunities, conversion rates, sales forecasts, and KPIs.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, especially for high-value transactions.
Preferred
- Experience in furniture, luxury retail, architecture, interior design, building materials, or other premium industries.
- Strong network with property developers, architects, contractors, or high-end customers.
- Good English communication and working skills.
- Good aesthetic sense and a strong understanding of high-end customers and the luxury market.
